Client: Secure Cultures
Project Type: Merchandise Design
Overview:
Secure Cultures is a fashion brand that emphasizes comfort without sacrificing style, offering clothing for both men and women. I was tasked with making minor adjustments to the main logo and creating a new design for the men’s line of hoodies.

Process & Solution:
For this project, I was tasked with creating t-shirt and hoodie designs that fuse streetwear culture with the stark, raw aesthetic of the Brutalism art movement. The challenge was to design bold, statement-making apparel that conveyed the brand’s commitment to comfort while incorporating elements of street style and the brutalist design ethos. This involved creating graphic designs with strong geometric shapes, harsh lines, and minimalist yet impactful visuals that pay homage to the brutalism movement, all while maintaining the appeal of streetwear fashion. The result was a unique piece that captured the essence of brutalist art while embracing the energy and style of streetwear, positioning Secure Cultures as an innovative brand that blends comfort with cutting-edge fashion.

Key deliverables included:

  • Custom t-shirt and hoodie designs that blend brutalist architectural elements with contemporary streetwear graphics.

  • A color palette focused on monochrome tones and stark contrasts to evoke the raw, industrial feel of brutalism.

  • Typography and logo integration that reinforced the edgy and bold nature of the designs, making each piece a statement.
